    Camphor & Eucalyptus

    I been doing a lot of looking but not a lot of posting .When I was in florida last summer I got alot of wood brought back form a guy that was picking up a truck down there that lived 40 miles away for me what a deal . Here are 2 turnings i got finished so far.

    Camphor and Eucalyptus, I can guess what your shop smells like . opens your sinuses right up!

    The Eucalyptus moves a lot, even when dry, and clean it off the tools quickly!

    I will say I like the first form better, but both look nice and show off the wood well.
    Retired - when every day is Saturday (unless it's Sunday).

    Very nice pieces. I recently turned a bowl from som Camphor Laurel (Australian) and my shop smelled like Vicks for a week!
