I like the "art deco" squarish thing you have going on the totes, especially the jointer - it's really nice, also the color work with the woods is beautiful and goes with the art deco look. I really like the work on that one! I do wonder how comfortable the tote is, but anyway it inspires me to make something like it.
the shape for the smoothers is very interesting, especially in light of the recent thread I opened about plane shapes. are they comfortable?
esthetically I think the "boxy" look clashes with the body shape, they look unfinished.
are the metal bodies from old metal planes?
P.S
I didn't notice you were new - wellcome! this place is haven. (where have I heard that before.... )

Nice to see you round these parts, Don! They still look great
May I ask what kind of steel did you use and what thickness?
Every one of them is a keeper ! Good job.
Those are quartet of beauties. All great to look at. Which do you find the most fun to use?
And welcome, Don!
Veni Vidi Vendi Vente! I came, I saw, I bought a large coffee!

its hard to tell which I like best. The #4 is sold, but I liked it.
