    Spalted ash bowl

This is a bowl i made for a guy over on wtu. It's for a swap were doing. As he has the piece now thought i'd go ahead and post it here now. It's about 11 1/2x 4 and finish is 2 coats of teak oil, followed by multi coats lacquar, waxed and hand buffed.

Great looking bowl. The steep sides and shallow ogee shape really show off that beautiful spalted figure. Nice looking finish too!

Great wood, and the form shows off a lot of surface area to take advantage of it. I love it.
