    Walnut headboard

Bobby Hicks took this pic while he was here and I just copied it from a msg he posted under "creeker visit". I don't know how to make the image appear here.

    Very very nice

Excellent work Steve. It looks really great. Is the center panel book matched four ways or just two?

    Beautiful piece Steve.

What flavor of plywood did you use to glue to? Did you vacuum bag it? or???

That thing is just gorgeous. Seems a shame to block any of that view with covers/pillows, etc.

    Thanks all.
Lee it's a 4 piece match and the end panels are crotch walnut. It's all layed up on 3/4 mdf.

All layed up on 3/4" mdf??? Whew! That's NOT going anywhere once set in place! And, if it were in MY house, I'd make sure it didn't go anywhere! That is flat out stunning! Very rich looking and the veneering exquisitely done. Very, very nice job, Steve!
