    out of practice...

Hi all, its been a while since I have been able to turn anything as I have been finishing my basement. This weekend I finally had a couple hours....

Man, I can really feel how rusty I have gotten. I pulled a small roughed out bowl, some sort of maple, given the short time I had.

If it wasn't for 80 grit I'm not sure I would have gotten anything out of it.

    Dimensions: 5" x 1.25" finished w/ french polish.

C&C welcome...Sorry, pics not that great, chosen placemat, even worse...

Thanks All, feels good to get back to it...

Looks good from here, Chris. After getting sidetracked on a flat work project, I usually warm up with a subpar roughout rather than risk something good. Turning may be like riding a bike, but I still get some wobbles when I haven't ridden in a while!
