    If you have the room, get an 8". But I'd say the price is a little high on that 8" Grizzly unless it's been updated to a spiral head (and then it could be a steal!!). As a point of comparison I bought a G0656 (a current-model with the 3HP motor and the built-in mobile base) for $400 off Denver Craigslist three years ago.

    I have not heard back from the guy with the 8", I would like to get him down to 400.00 IF it is good jointer...
