    Anybody worked with Willow?

    supplier is offering but ive never seen it. any info?....thx jack

    I needed to make some shelves for an antique armoir that was english walnut and the willow was a near perfect match. Lightweight and easy to work too.

    I cut about 200 bowl blanks from a willow tree. Got a lot of seperation between the rings within the bowls as they dried. Pretty wood. Kinda dark, but lots going on, grain-wise. Holds moisture too well.
