I just picked up a 1976 PM66 a few weeks ago. I travel a lot for work so I haven't had a chance to work on it that steady. When I unloaded the saw a friend helped me tip it right on to the mobile base. I have aligned the tabled and blade perfectly however now that I am getting ready to make my right extension I have noticed that the saw really needs to sit more level on the base (it may need to be shimmed). My question is:Can I safely (meaning no damage) lift the saw as one unit off of the base by the table either with a chain fall or with the assistance of my 3 strong sons or should I remove the table and lift the cabinet and motor without the table attached. I suppose I am wondering if it would put too much stress on the three bolts that hold the table to the cabinet. Sorry that this ended up more wordy than I intended but I wanted to make sure that my question was clearly understood.
Thanks
