I was wondering if any of the makers here recommend/know of a violin making school that is in America, that teaches beginners?
Right now I am researching what is out there to choose from, so thought that some of you might know one.
Thanks

My shop in the museum was likely one of the very best. Unfortunately,it was incorporated into the Cabinet shop for historical accuracy reasons.
Where are you located?
I know several working violin makers/bow makers who attended this school;

All spoke very highly of the program.
I 2nd that. When I was in school the first 1/2 day was spent in a dept other than your major. I got vilon making. It sure was interesting and far more involved than I imagined. Their program (and school for that matter) is very well regarded.
