    Sawdust extraction arm problems

    Hi,

I'm experiencing some problems with the sawdust extraction arm(used for dust collection from a sawmill).
To be more specific, I've uploaded 2 video files for a better understanding.
The structure has already been built ,thus I've created a miniature to exemplify the error.I think I may need some sort of joint in order to avoid
tangling.Any help would be much appreciated.

One video depicts an ideal situation, while the other depicts what's really going on.

Ok the problem is too much slack in the joints and the sliding pivot (sliding part) is too small to support the weight without get snagged. The pivots all need the holes sleeved to provide more support and the slider needs to be longer in the slot to prevent snagging. I hope that helps.

    Thanks for the info, Tim.

All of your suggestions have been taken into account right before I started the project, so I was kind of overwhelmed when I realized the slider had this problem.

    Regards,
