    Cool New Workshop/Office Now In-Use

I'm finally moved into the much, much, much bigger Workshop/Office, or Command Central as I call it. I still need to sort out my storage, build some cabinet drawer fronts and doors, but it's now in-use. Since I have soo much counter/desk space I opted for a cheap solution that only time will tell if it holds up. The blower is still in the old room, so I have a switch with a lite to let me know it's still on. the other in the pic is for the air assist. I never knew the fans on my laser were so loud, now that I'm not deafened by the blower. Sounds strange to actually hear the air suction through the laser cabinet. The total space is about 14x17.

Actually, the old shop was at the far end of a storage room. My working space was about 7x9. Very cramped! This shop is open to the entire basement that I just finished - OK bathroom and flooring are still a work in progress. That gives me another 22x30 ft of "currently" unused space to easily expand into.

Nice set up, Tim. Try to enjoy the clean state now, as it sure won't stay that way! Question: is there going to be a sink in there? I sure can't do without mine, I use it for everything from spraying small amounts of Cermark in there to rinsing off acrylic after cleaning with alcohol to the usual paintbrush cleaning and grid cleaning. You've got a lot of storage there, hurry up and fill it up!

    cheers, dee

I would find it utterly impossible to work in such a clean organized space.

    Tim,

With all that new space it might be a good time to add a larger laser engraver

I would not even dare to post pictures of my workshop....looks like a bomb hit it..and thats when it's tidy, I am actually surprised sometimes at the fact I manage to get quite good quality products out of it

    Very nice work digs Tim!
Life and death don't bother me. It's that little period of time in between that bothers me.
