    Easy tool cutter question

    I have a knock off easy tool that i use for roughing out, does anyone out there sharpen these cutters, i hate to throw it away if someone can sharpen it for a reasonable amount and i dont want to screw up the cutter trying....

    I dont have a knock off but I rub mine on a diamond stone and the edge comes up nice!!!!!

    I have two homemade versions of the full size EW tools. For the rougher I use inserts that are normally used on a planner head at about $2.60 each. At that price and as long as they last(still using a box of 10 purchased 02/2011).

    They really aren't worth the effort. There are lots of sources (search function) to pick them up cheap.
