    Celadon

Haven't posted for a while, life has been exceedingly busy, in fact I think I need to retire.

Camphor Laurel 6x7 with spirals and curved lip, both the shape and lip of Asian influence and the rule of thirds doesn't really exist there. Finished in WOP and buffed.

I think this equates nicely to wood turning as well . . . . .

Thanks for all the positive feed back, much appreciated. Turning this one was something of a first and so success is not always assured.

Really nice, great finish and shape. Would you mind making some general comments on how you made it?

Nice work Hughie. You should tell everone that you only used sandpaper (no carving)!!! You sure make some great spiral pieces.

Lovely wood and finish looks great! The spirals are totally breath taking. It took a lot of turning, sanding and carving. Delightful work!
