Thumbs up Care Package from John Hart (gloat)

Joh Hart sent me a Big box of turning blanks and they are great! Included was this block of Curly Maple 12.5" X 6" X 3.5" 7.5 pounds. I'm attaching a pic of it. Also included were more Maple and Cherry blanks all sealed in wax. John mentioned that he was thinking of selling these from his website and that he would of course give Creekers a big discount, hope he gets it up and running. After i get my lathe tool rest base replaced i will post pics of what i do with this piece.

Got my own care package from John. Generous fellow. Now I'm waiting to get the go for a trip to west Texas for some mesquite and return the favor.
