Dartboard Cabinet

Some very good friends of ours recently bought a house, and my friend found his "man-cave" upgrade from an unheated 8'x8' room in the attick to an entire basement equipped with full-size bar. They also happened to be getting married soon, so when I saw the dartboard cabinet project in a recent issue of Woodsmith I thought it would be a great gift idea.
I didn't change the design up much at all from the project in the magazine. Wish I had tried a bit harder to track down the rift-sawn 1/4 ply for the doors, but overall I think it turned out pretty nice.

It's white oak stained with Minwax Special Walnut (#224 I think, Oil Based), and finished with three coats of Minwax's Wipe-On Poly. It was my first time using the wipe-on, and I really liked it.

Actually Derek we sent you two quarterbacks last year - but you ended up only using Wilson, and sending Flynn to Oakland. I still really enjoy watching Wilson play, he's pretty amazing. A bit too small to play QA tho, right?
