    Wedding Plate

I turned this plate about a month ago as a wedding present for my boyfriend's niece. I got the plate back from the engravers this week and I'm very happy with how it turned out. Tonight I started apply the finish (antique oil) and I also gilded the bead on the rim although it doesn't show up well in the pics.
It still needs a few more coats of finish.
    It's maple and 11 1/2" x 1 1/2".

    Thanks guys!
I'm happy with how it turned out and I think they'll like it.
One of the girls at work saw it after I picked it up at the engravers and now she wants one to give her friend that's getting married.
