    Assembly table

Spent some free time this weekend on a new assembly table. I had been slowly accumulating the parts needed for a Kreg table, as I do some pocket screw joinery, and had a couple of their rails, but never did get around to building it for one reason or another.

Then I got an email for this:

They fit great together, and being 3/4" thick, allows you to use the Kreg clamps or any of their attachments. I also like that it is also made of a type of plastic that glue does not stick to it, and it is easy to expand as needed.

New photo of the table in action, clamped to the Workmate, and with clamps and guides in place. It has two cleats under it, so that you can easily clamp it to the dogs in the Workmate top. It works pretty well. Now, when the time is right, kitchen cabinets.
