    Yellowheart Vase

This is a vase made from 169 pieces of yellowheart. Yellowheart polishes to a sheen that looks almost 3-D and it seems to follow you around the room when you look at it. I made it for a wedding present for a young lady that likes a bright and sunny house. I hope this fits into her décor!

How could it not fit anyone's decor?
On the off chance she doesn't like it I think I have the perfect place to store it . . . .

I think this equates nicely to wood turning as well . . . . .

One of the things I don't like about segmented work is the way they reflect light. Normally. This piece is the exeption to that rule as I think you have used that 'fault' as a feature and used it well. She should be very happy with the piece.
