My turn for a lumber gloat...well a small one

So it turns out patience pays off. About a month ago, a guy advertised some purpleheart on my local Craig's list. I sent Hume a message, asking how much. He quoted me $17/ board foot. There is a lumber yard about an hour away that sells it for $9/ft, which is where he was buying it from. I wished him good luck, and left it at that.

This weekend, he ran his ad again, but had a tag on it that no reasonable offer would be refused. I contacted him again, and asked how much. He said he'd take a $100 for all he had left. When I showed up, he also had a little bit of wenge and ambrosia maple.

    It looks like this:

I ended up with 50 board feet of purpleheart (excluding the shorts on top), 20 of the maple and 5 of the wenge...for a whopping $140. I do ok?

There are some really nice 14 and 15" wide boards in there!

Looks like a good deal to me. How long are the longest boards?

That's a nice gloat. You suck.
