Looking for help and parts for Stanley No. 2

I'm looking for a no.2 lever cap, I bought a fairly rough no. 2 with wrong lever cap. Also has wrong front knob, I have lots of nice rosewood knobs but don't know if a no. 3 or no. 4 knob is correct size for the no. 2. I'm hoping someone can steer me in the right direction.

I have 4 #2's, all original parts, and all of the front knobs are 1 1/2" in diameter. I have 2 #3's, both original parts, and the front knobs are 1 5/8" in diameter. They do appear to be the same height. These planes are all of (type#11 and older) the low front knob variety. I don't have any low knob #4's . All mine are type 12 and newer with the high front knob.

That helps a bunch, looks like I'll go on the search for the smaller knob.
