    Nice job and beautiful wood!
    Solid or hollow?

I like that. Very nice turning and carving. Appropriate wood, and a great photo!

Not what I was expecting! And I'm glad I looked!!!! Very nice turning/carving combo. That wood is spectacular. And the twisted carving on the stem is a beautiful touch. I'd like to know if it is hollowed, as well.

Yes, the pumpkin is holllow. If left solid it would be really heavy, and most likely crack.
    Thanks for the comments.

Beautiful! Is the coloring all natural? It almost looks like you can see ghosts and goblins, but maybe it is just my imagination.

Jon, the colors are all natural. It came from a 20' log that sat on the ground for 1/2 a year. I've never seen Sycamore quite like it.

Amazing pumpkin John! Gorgeous wood, carving, and finish.

First thing I thought was, is the stem threaded on? Then I saw the size. Maybe a bit big for that, but the lid would be neat.
