Mobile Computer Cabinet.jpgI am needing to build a cabinet out of wood, but the finish needs to make it appear to be a metal cabinet. In the process of getting a small CNC Plasma Table, would like to make the mobile computer cabinet out of wood but have a metal looking finish.

Shopnotes did this a while ago.
If it were me, I'd prime it with a top quality primer, then use one of the Rustoleum spray cans. They can turn anything into metal.

I built a table earlier this year for my cnc router. I used Valspar int/ext simi-gloss enamel paint from Lowes and the shortest nap roller I could find – I think it was a 1/8 nap. I like the lightly textured look from the roller and the paint seems durable.
