    A little spindle turning......

    Sometimes you have to make something that you need! Custom mesquite handle on a Thompson scraper.

    Sure is some beautiful wood! How long is the handle? Looks like you should be able to get a really good grip on it!

    Steve, the handle is 12" long, with an overall tool length of 18".

    Paul, the tang was rectangular and I simply press fit it in. I use a 3/4" pipe clamp with a piece of scrap wood on each end and it works perfectly.
