    Natural Edge fun

    I kinda have an affinity for natural edge type turnings and an aversion to tossing unique wood, so I combined those two personality disorders into a maple Natural Edge wine bottle stopper. Its hard to show in the picture, but its pretty open from one side to the other, I had to CA glue part of the 'crown' in as I got the basic shape started. Thanks for looking!

    Agreed, looks great! It would seem to me that once it is pulled, and as the bottle gets less full, the pain will diminish in direct proportion to consumption.

    That is definitely an interesting piece, Lee. I like it for its different look, but I wonder how long it would hold up.

    Thanks! I would think if you are careful it won't break on you! You definately would show caution when using!
