I love it when all you have to do is make it round

I only had a chance to snap one pic before it sold. Clearly underpriced, but it wasn't flawless so I don't mind.
Ambrosia Maple (Silver maple) about 10 x 7. Beautiful wood, I hope I have more stashed somewhere.

Beautiful work Maria. May I ask what finish you applied?

Thanks, I used General finishes salad bowl finish. Probably 3-4 rounds, as a wipe on, soak in, wipe off. Didn't get a chance to buff it, our annual crafter-Fest at work was today and I put the last coat on the day before. It did a great job of enhancing while not competing with the wood's colors I thought.

Had a good day, sold all but two and they may still go. Gotta keep my eyes peeled for more gnarly wood.

Very nice and congrats, Maria. If you don't mind me asking, what did you sell the bowl for. A lot of us that sell like to know what others around the country are getting for their bowls...as a comparison. Granted, markets are different, and venues determine price points, too...
