    Yet another dutch tool chest

    Had to try one, thus I made one for my son. Might be a while until he actually uses it for what it is for...but it was a good and fun project.

    I used joined 14" wide White pine for most, poplar for the drawer and chisel rack, a few pieces of oak in a couple places. It is nice and light without anything in it.

    I used LV strap hinges and I forged the carry handles. It needs just a couple more things like plane spacers and some type of pull for the drawer, but for the most part it is complete.

    Wax over black milk paint, over red milk paint. All interior surfaces are waxed. Here are a couple pics along the way:









    First time I tried a half blind...it was fun
