    Leftovers

    Remember my wife's peppermill? DSC_0317.JPG

Well, I had a small piece of the blank leftover. She wants this little lidded box for her desk at work......I guess paper clips or rubber bands? She came into the den this morning with it in her hand and said ...."this IS mine, right?!"

She laid claim to it, but I told her that I have to take it to our first club meeting on Saturday for the show & tell, then she can take it to the office.

Nice box. What's the trick to getting the stripes aligned? cut the top off the bottom set the length to match or what?
Retired - when every day is Saturday (unless it's Sunday).

Yep.........that is pretty much it, Thom. I should not have made the concave sides........I should have left them straight because the stripes on the back are not perfectly aligned.......they would have been 360 degrees if I had left the sides straight.

I like that, Rog. Problem with bringing something like that to the office is that it invites fondling and daydreaming.. a distraction from work. Exactly why we do this, isn't it?

    Well done.

Thanks Paul........glad you like it! I do not consider my wife of 38 years to be SWMBO......I am too strong willed for that and she is a talented a graceful person, not to mention formidable in her own right!!! We just have managed to learn to honor and respect one another, and if we can do some little things along the way that bring a little happiness to one another, then all the better.
