need to do more of this. First time i tried the out board on the Wadkin RS. got the camera looking through the window as there was no room to safely film. there was some wind coming off this you can see my hair getting blow back

Seriously, were you smoking behind the face shield while doing that work?
What face shield?

Very nice! I love the design. I was wondering if you just collected awesome tools or used them to make shavings too.
PS. Don't care if you smoke, that's you're business.

Nice, very nice. That would certainly stress a lighter lathe!
Jack that cutting board looks great, I never get tired of watching your videos.
Thanks for sharing.
Very interesting Jack, regards, Rod.
Oh Boy Jack,

That is very well done! Thanks for the video, I was just about to try and explain to another turner on Facebook how to counter balance his offset turning and you saved me all the trouble!

Beautiful work. I prefer to have the back of the handle a little higher when using a scraper. But maybe you are using a negative-rake and you can get away with that angle a little better. My outboard attachment is on the way from Oneway. I'll be working on the outside very soon myself.
That is a fantastic cutting board. I love the design. Looked a bit scary on the lathe though!

No, it's not thin enough yet.

I did a neutral grind on that scraper and honed the top to a polish(no bur) for that last work. had trouble with the end grain and curly at that speed and that worked for me.
the Wadkin has a big lump of cast for the outboard tool rest so it not as nice as a One Way to adjust but the swing is 8 feet if your brave enough

Gotta love "old arn"........super cutting board, and thanks for sharing the video........makes me want to attempt something smaller on the end of mine or inboard.
