    large bevel square

    Anyone aware of a commercial bevel square that has about 20" legs?

    Not sure where you can find one with legs that long but you could certainly make one pretty easily from a piece of 3/4" stock and a piece of sheet metal.

    Lee Valley has a "Protractor Square" that has 20" & 9" legs.

    Thanks, all. The Japanese and Lee Valley ones look really good but I think Joe is right, I should make what I need. This is just for simple angle transfer, I don't even care what the angle is.

    It's just that when you need stuff like this, you're always busy and you need it NOW.

    Cardboard and some tape is all you need in a pinch. Two rulers and small clamp. Some scrap wood and a screw. Thin flat metal x2 and a screw. The options are endless. By far one of the easiest things to make.
