    Modifying a PM DC question

    Have a question for all. I have a lead on a PM 75 DC, the 3HP double bagger. My questions is regarding the double set up. Has anyone every removed one of the sides to make it a single bag/cannister? Im going to put a Wynn filter on or else I would just keep it as is. Don't want to pay double for filters. I can do simple sheet metal work so I can form the impeller housing in a continuous shape no problem. From what I understand DC don't have issues with resistance that I would change going to one bag so I don't see any problems with that.

    Thoughts or concerns??

    Call Wynn and ask him for a recommendation before you do any altering of the machine.

    Cartridge filters all have a limit as to how much cfm they can handle. I would buy two quality bags and leave off the cartridge. Dave
