    Argentine Vera wood finishing

I've had no trouble getting the wood to turn an interesting green color after turning it (I mist with water and set in the sun to dry (oxidize?). But I sure have had trouble keeping the green when I start to finish it. I loose the striking color when I apply CA or sanding sealer to the piece. Is it just me or have others had this problem? Solution? Thanks

I really like that wood. The smell is really nice and turns great. I've not had any trouble keeping the green color with a CA finish. I'd guess it's the piece of wood rather then the finish you are putting on it.

PS.. I have never had to treat it special to get the green color. It has come green and stayed green thru the turning. Maybe we have received two difffernt species.
