I recently acquired a lightly used Milwaukee 6012 1/3 sheet sander that is in need of a new pad. The previous owner took the pad from this sander to use on his other 6012 - he did give me an old "pad" (really just the metal backer as most of the rubber pad itself is worn away). Ereplacement Parts (etc) show the pad as discontinued. So... I'm wondering if any of y'all have discovered a suitable material that can be adhered to the old metal pad backing plate or, on the odd chance know of another manufacturer that has a similar sized pad that I can retrofit (Milwaukee pad size is 3-1/2" X 7-1/4").
