I just keep seeing that scene from crocodile dundee when he pulls out the big bowie knife and says, "now that's a knife" Sir, now that's a bandsaw
You won't be able to do scroll work with that.
Got mine off Craigslist for $1,700,000
Did you get the optional mobile base?
Almost looks cartoonish,That's a big bandsaw or a small man.
Can we get a video of you folding up the blade?? Kidding aside, that thing is HUGE. A couple pics of it in action would be really cool.
A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. My desk is a work station.
How are you going to feed it? Sharp chain? EDLF? What species? Thruput rate?
Thank you for your interest. I will post more pictures and perhaps I can manage to post a video. I am not so experienced with videos and internet...i am more of a wood guy, you know
Some facts: the sliding table, when sliding back accelartes as fast as a Porsche 911, or a Dodge Viper....everything is Laser controlled. You have like 10 screens in the operater-room, a joysticck...looks like an airplane.
Basically you put in a log at one side, and a few seconds later you get precisious resawn lumber, graded, stacked....
BUT, you can even resaw venners (aka tonewood) with a kerf smaller than a tabelsaw blade, a surface like sanded, out of logs with diameter up to 5 or 6 feet, so really big logs.
@Bill: Sorry, my english is not so good, but what do you mean with EDLF? An what is a sharp chain? The thruput rate I will let you know tomorrow...it is redicolus high...
We are mainly doing european oak, also larch, maple, walnut etc, but 80 % Oak.
Cheers, alex
You take your hobby serious, dang that is huge. When I seen the 102hp I thought it was a mistake,if you do a video I would love to hear it run.Again that is HUGE,thanks for posting----Carroll
