New Little Sliding Saw

I got this Makita 7 1/4" sliding compound miter saw from Amazon last month when someone posted about it being on sale. Found one with a dented box even cheaper than advertised. It works great. Didn't take the photograph until it had been used. This little slider weighs less than thirty pounds and went to the job site much easier than the large slider. Works like a dream.

I almost purchased one of those... supposed to be a very nice saw. I opted for the Festool version because it did not need the smaller size (I don't move it) and I wanted to be able to cut wider stock..... and I still almost bought it because it is a great little saw at a really nice price.
