tv stand design

Very basic question here from a novice- A friend is looking for a tv stand that will fit in a corner and I'm not sure where to begin.

It's supposed to be knee high, have two shelves, and fit into a corner.

I have limited skills just a simple table, a nightstand, etc... mostly mortise and tenon, rabbets. and dados.

I do have access to a nice shop at the school.

And plans or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I often find myself doing google image searches in situations like this, I find see how others have solved a problem can get me going in the right direction.
