    how would you finish this?

IMG_1839.jpg This is the upper portion of a kitchen pantry with fixed shelves. as you can see in the picture it is tight. I can get the gun in-between the shelves but it is very tight. should i just foam brush these. or go for it with the gun? if i go at it with the gun, what would your pattern be?

Are you planning to add color or just a clear finish?

Clear finish and a brush would be my weapon of choice. This is a time when pre-finishing (before assembly) would have been a good option; Especially if you want to add color.

Finishing is an 'Art & a Science'. Actually, it is a process. You must understand the properties and tendencies of the finish you are using. You must know the proper steps and techniques, then you must execute them properly.

No color, just three coats of Enduro-Var.

At this point I'd use a foam brush. I'd never be able to spray uniformly in such tight quarters.
