Not trying to sell you anything since I have a Woodrat, MLCS template guide and a $20.00 Harbor Freight (with dust collection) and used to have a Leigh Super. The Woodrat will make any profile you can chuck up and I use it on furniture. Template guide for big boxes and the Harbor Freight for kitchen/bath drawers. The Harbor Freight is really handy when making 3/8" overlay, one-piece drawer fronts. Never saw a need to use a dedicated router as it takes little time to set the bits if I have kept notes in my shop book.
Here's a pic of some sample joints with the Harbor Freight. The one on the right is with a std 14 deg bit, the other 2 are with a 8 deg bit.
