    A few Box Elder pieces

that I hope to sell at the show this weekend. The vase is 6"x4" WOP, the platter is 13"x1.5" WOP, and the pot is 4"x4" Formby's tung oil finish about 8 coats and it buffed up really nice. All the flame was dyed over with red transtint dye and water with a fine brush. Comments and critiques welcome.

Good looking pieces Toby. Dang...you seem to have an endless supply of that curly box elder. The natural edge and inclusions on the vase are quite nice...I'd guess it will go quickly. Have fun!

Nice work , I like the vase. I understand the " red" turns to brown so the dye helps keep it red ? I have a 9" x 5" block of "flame" to try.

Toby, they are three good looking pieces. Best of luck at the show. Just curious, what does WOP mean? I am not familiar with that term.
