Drilling Router Table Plate for Titan Router

I assume there is not a template. For counter sinking the mounting screws in the aluminum base, can a steel forester bit be used to drill the counter sunk hole in the aluminum? Using round head screws and the bottom of the hole needs to be flat. How do you do it?

The usual steel forstner bit doesn't drill aluminum very well. Why not get flat-head machine screws, and use a standard countersink?

Yes, that's what I did as well.
To get the holes in the baseplate and router base exactly aligned, transfer punches are very handy http://www.leevalley.com/en/Wood/pag...92&cat=1,43456. These are an excellent tool when precision is required.
