Not All Who Wander Are Lost
You have some good color there. Enjoy.
C&C WELCOME
Very nice looking bowl, Tom
Good looking bowl with great grain color.
I never liked turning pine, but have some nice bowls that I enjoyed turning out of a spruce we cut down.
Free wood is the best kind.
Free is good, even if it is pine. Looks like there may have been some pitch in the wood and that is my big issue with pine, but my Powermatic 3520B accepts the free wood, sap and pitch included. My son was using one daily for about 7 years as a fruit bowl in kitchen. Yours looks similar in size and color. Now you need to do a pine hollow form with the oil finish.
Great job, I believe that pine is often over looked as turning material.
And it leaves the shop smelling very nice for a while !!! Nice work on that one Tom !!!

Tom nice bowl, I like the shape and the thickness. Images are kind of small but the finish looks fine as well. Overall nice job!
thanks I checked them out. Their next meeting(April)is on furniture making. I'll check out their May meeting when it's announced
