Steam Cleaner Recommendation

I replaced all of the carpet in our home with porcelain tile and we love it. We are looking for a nice steam cleaner to clean the floor with.

Does anyone have a recommendation for one you are happy with?

I just bought my wife one of the Shark steam cleaners and she says she loves it. It was a bit expensive, but it's one of those you get what you pay for things. The first steamer we had was one of the cheaper ones and it wasn't very good.

We've used a couple. I like the green eureka one and it's cheap.

The steam doesn't really do anything other than deliver moisture a little at a time, but it does do that well.

We don't live in a "sterile house" here, and thus don't put an additive other than vinegar in the water to actually do disinfecting.

We had a steam cleaner in a condo we rented and it worked well. Don't rememeber the name. I would make two suggestions. Vacuum before you steam and also buy extra bonnets as they do get soiled and wear out rather quickly.
