They are all well done, Dennis! Unique forms for sure.......some familiar elements combined with unusual forms making for interesting urns. For example the last pic.........the upper black area .......neat interpretation for a topper [not sure if it is technically a finial, but perhaps it is]
How about a listing of the woods and dimensions used on each of these? I like your imagination and the colors...........Cool, cool, cool!
Remember, in a moments time, everything can change!
Vision - not just seeing what is, but seeing what can be!
Very nice. I particularly like the next to last one. Very bold.
Nice Dennis! Is the 7th one with the concave top red gum? Really like all the different shapes and contrasts.
Thanks Guys. The 7th one is quilted maple. I am going to try changing the settings on my camera as I think some are kind of blurry.
Do or do not, there is no try.
Nice work Dennis. I was wondering, it is hard to get a size perspective with your pictures. How big are you pieces?
Very nice work ,Dennis. Have you moved to SF yet.
Dennis, you have included a very interesting variety in form and color. Dimensions might be helpful to fully appreciate what you have done.
Thanks guys. I am trying to make urns that don't look like urns.
I'll get the dimensions and wood species up tomorrow. Today I am going to play outside.....its been a long winter!!!
That did not pan out as we expected. I think for the next couple years, we will be visiting a couple times a year. We did have a great time out there though.
Do or do not, there is no try.
Great work, Dennis! Nice range of shapes, material and techniques.
