    Stanley Chisels

Picked up a set of Stanley 5001 chisels. Are they worth a hoot?

    Thanks,

    Brandon

I'll give you a hoot for them!
    I am never wrong.

    Well...I thought I was wrong once...but I was mistaken.

I've used lots of Stanley chisels from a lot of vintages, but never a 5001 per se. Based upon other Stanley's I've used, I'm guessing they are very decent workers of a level similar to Marples, Record, or Narex.

This is an article about the 5001 chisels.

I don't want to start another flame war, but Paul Sellers likes them.
