Experience: Cheap eBay focal lens from China

I've bought two 4", three 3", three 2" and one 1.5" cheap ebay lenses. Around $21 each IIRC...

I've broken two (my fault), had two crack (partly my fault, something on the lens superheated I guess), and they tend to scratch easily.

But-- Even cracked, and one with an overheat stain, I've seen no engraving difference with them.

And- I've used a couple of them on my LS900, and found no noticeable engraving differences between the cheap and my original Gravo lens.

So yes, they seem to have durability issues, but, since I can't detect any appreciable engraving differences between them and my 'good' lens, I see no reason to pay $100 for ONE when I can get 4 or 5 of the cheap version for the same price, and get a variety to boot...

As for CUTTING, I don't have enough experience to know...

In first thread u said that u bought smaller 18mm lens because u didnt know if bigger will fit in original case....Did you bought again smaller or this time u bought bigger ... 19.05mm
