Lathe has served me well, but it is about time to replace the drive belt.
This is a Reeves drive lathe.
Does the change require the sheeves to be dissembled, or is there an easier method?

On the other hand, I still have five fingers.
The manual is here - http://cdn0.grizzly.com/manuals/g1067_m.pdf
Thanks John. I do have the manual, but nothing is stated about the belt change process.
I am hoping that there is a quick way to make the change without taking the drive apart.

This thread may help some - but...not much out there that I can see.

On my Powermatic 90, I turn the lathe off in the "stop" position and then move the speed dial to the full speed position. The belt just slips off. I can also compress the reeves drive by squeezing it if necessary.
