I went out and brought a new lathe today and the way you all go on about it made it a pretty easy choice. I wouldn't want to shout it out loud but it is what most of you refer to as a Mustard Monster. < that was supposed to be a very small font> Here in the UK we call it Jet 3520b but I notice the rubber mat on top of the headstock says Powermatic . Feeling quite chuffed

You will find that the lathe is the cheapest part of woodturning. You have made an excellent choice. Welcome to the vortex.
