Replaced tires on my MM20 and the instructions say to sand the tires after installing. How and why? They don't feel to bumpy to me. For those that have NON Crowned tires do you sand yours?

Shocked yours needed replaced actually.
Glad its my shop I am responsible for - I only have to make me happy.
Bought my saw used and the tires were chewed up something fierce. Looks like the first owner either put the entire blade on the tire so the teeth cut the tires as they spun OR the tension was not high enough and the blade pushed back on to the tires. The saw is a 2006 model.

Don't really need to sand them. Not sure why it says that but I never have. Maybe if there was a tiny bump or something in the rubber mold. Hope this helps.

Thanks Erik,
Guess I'll throw on a blade and see how it cuts.
