My choice would be a 1/2" or 3/4" (the widest they have) Woodslicer, 3 TPI, or a 3/4" or 1" Timberwolf, also 3 TPI. You will probably have to clean up with a hand plane or a jointer whatever blade you use.

Brian. What size bandsaw? If I was using my Jet 14" I'd be using a 1/2", 3 tpi, Woodslicer blade from Highland Hardware, or the equivalent Timberwolf. For my 18" Rikon. I'd use the 1" Lennox TriMaster, 2/3 varipitch, or the BiMetal in the same tooth configuration. I'd also make a nice sled to hold those pieces while I cut them. My .02 fwiw
