    Bill Grumbine Bowl Gouge

Anyone have one of the Bill Grumbine 5/8" bowl gouges from Doug Thompson?

I know the Grumbine gouge is longer than Doug's standard 5/8" V gouge, but what I'd like to know is if the extra length is on the flute end or on the tang.

    Thanks!

Sometimes the obvious best answer is so plain we look right past it. Thanks, Dwight..

In case someone else wonders the same thing, I emailed Doug Thompson and posed the question. The flute is 7" long like the regular gouge, the extra length is in the shank.
