    12/24/ must be a favorite day for wedding, as least on the sawcreek, my first wife and I got marry on 12/23/66, we want to get marry on the 24st BUT the minister had other plans for that day

    What a great story, Ken, thanks for sharing it. My wife and I celebrated 14 years of marriage yesterday. Well, I celebrated, she just kind of mourned. :-)

    Glad you both learned to smile over the years. :-) that wedding picture was well before the years you could take 10 pictures and look at them right away and pick the best one!

    It's just over 46 1/2 yrs for us too. Married April 27 1968. She is one wonderful woman.

    I enjoy reading this story.

    My wife and I will be celebrating 33 years on New Years Day.

    I didn't get married until I was in my 30s. She had three daughters from a previous marriage.

    We have a son together who is now with the Air Force and has three of his own.
